Golden Bridge hands in Vietnam

Known as the Golden Bridge hands, this incredible structure stands above the Ba Na hills in Vietnam offering breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside.

The 150 m-long Golden Bridge – supported by a pair of gigantic hands straight out of a Game of Thrones set – is wowing visitors with its smart design since it was opened in June 2018. This masterpiece of architecture is part of a $2 billion investment to lure more tourists to central Vietnam.

The Golden Bridge Hands extends over no less than 150 meters and gives travelers the impression of “crossing paradise”. The two enormous hands have a spiritual, divine connotation, and give visitors the impression of being guided by a titan of stone. The gold-colored walkway is lined with purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums curving around in an sophisticated design.

The design for the Golden Bridge Hands came from a studio named TA Landscape Architecture, and while the hands look like they are carved from stone, they are actually not. “We designed the skeleton of the hands and covered them with steel meshes,” a representative of the studio alleged. “Then we finished with fiberglass and added the theming on it. The entire construction of the bridge took about a year.”
